TIME TO BITE SOME KNEE CAPS BABY🦁 Detroit Lions -5.5 Spread (-104) Detroit Lions | #OnePride I know this comes off as biased but this is also part of a system that has made us a lot of money in the last few years. 100 likes for another NFL Play❤️ System play once again backing Dan Campbell ATS coming off of a ATS loss. 20-4-1 ATS coming off an ATS loss excluding short week Thursday games. 2 of those losses were the last 2 games in the 2nd season before they turned it around and actually started winning games and being considered a good team. 15-2 since that week. The market also loves to overreact to a team that just lost on primetime in a manner that has the media talking down on them. Additionally, it has been clear that the one dimension of the Lions game that is getting them in trouble is their defensive secondary. Their pass rush has actually ranked top 5 in win rate, and they have one of the best offenses in the NFL. The secondary has been that bad but... The Cardinals have the LOWEST Yards per Attempt in the NFL in the pass game and have the 5th lowest completion rate on throws 15+ yards down the field, so the Cardinals will likely need methodical drives to get there. As bad as the Lions have looked defensively, it is worth mentioning that these games have been • Saints: Had a 21-0 lead • Bills: Arguably best offense in NFL + New stadium debut + TNF after OT • Jets: Only 10 points allowed until 12 min left in 4Q thanks to a DPI on 3rd and 17... • Panthers: Most Pass Yards in NFL which is what we have recognized as the Lions main weakness... Now, these are not excuses, they all count, but it is still 2 games against passing power houses that prey on the Lions weakness, and then 2 other games where the Lions defense was holding up until late. Knowing that the offense is a walking 30+ points, it is reasonable to think that the defense can do enough to take care of business on the scoreboard here. So now that they get the Cardinals who is the most inefficient pass offense in the NFL, in an indoor environment for Goff to cook, coming off of a loss, I do expect them to take care of business ahead of their bye week. This really all comes down to: Is the gap Jacoby Brissett led pass attack that much better than the Lions pass defense that it eliminates how Detroit is better at every other aspect? I am willing to literally bet that the answer is no
